Hey friends! With San Diego moving from the Purple to Red tier, life has gotten insanely busy all of a sudden. While many ratteries seem to be rockstars at taking cute pics of their ratties... well, I'm still learning on what works for us. But! Video works well too, SO - enjoy!
Finally, 2020 is coming to an end. While I, personally, am not too optimistic that much will change immediately, I do know that the New Year welcomes space for new pets. So why not adopt an adorable, curious, cuddly pet rat -- it's like the puppy you reeally wanted for Christmas, without the whole turning into a giant dog thing. =) Meet the youngsters that are available now below! (PS - Rats shown in groups do NOT have to be adopted together! Please feel free to choose the girls you like best. I do bring all available girls with me to the meeting, so you can meet them all - BUT if there are two (or more!) that absolutely catch your ❤️, please let me know! ) The Gals...Hover over the picture for description. Summer was HOT. The last 6 months have been ... rough to say the least. Between COVID-19 and the intense heat, stress levels around here have been at a new high. Fortunately, these last few weeks have been dramatically cooler and we've had a chance to recover a bit from all the craziness.
Currently, we have the happy chirps of 5 litters getting ready to find forever homes, as well as a few ready right now. Thank you to everyone who's been patiently waiting, and I look forward to getting back to you all over the next few days! UPDATE: Hi everyone! It's been a crazy super hot summer, and over the last few months the heat has claimed a good majority of our babies (and adults). It's been super stressful, and sad, and frustrating. But now that we're heading into lower temps, and more "normal" seasonal temperatures, our litters are flourishing.
If you've emailed or called in the last month, I'm sorry for the significant delay as we've been doing everything we can to keep our animals cool. From frozen water bottles, to tiles in their homes, to a custom misting system, and even short dunks in the rat pool... it's been rough. I'm working through our contact list, and will get to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, here's a great video I came across... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bI6vljzZ87g BoysGirlsAll babies were born February 24, 2020 and would LOVE to keep you company during this stay-at-home order. These are the last young adults and babies available for 2018. Starting in 2019, expect at least two monthly updates to this page (I've commissioned my son to help with the web stuff!! Yay, delegation!) and many more cuties to come.
Oh man, it has been a busy few months. First and foremost, we've MOVED! And let me tell you, that was a process. Not only did we have to find a new place AND move in 60 days, we also had to do that with all our rats (and two pregnant rats!). It was stressful. So, apologies to every that's reached out and I haven't been able to return emails or phone calls or voicemails!! But, now we're nicely settled and thriving once more! Hooray!
